Baby Holm says hello to the world! His (or her) head is the large round object in the lower left
(look close and you can see an eye socket and the nose/mouth area).
His (or her) body continues up and to the right.
Well, today was our first baby appointment and we got to see the baby! (S)He is measuring 9 weeks 5 days and is due January 1, 2009 - which is what I had figured before. So (s)he is right on schedule!
We got to see the heart beat as well - 147 beats per minute!! Crazy!!
Eric said it feels a lot more real now that he's seen the munchkin. All I kept thinking was "Holy crap - that's my baby!!"
